LONDON

So i just got back from London. Crazy place, but fun none the less. The place is filled with history, royalty, and people of all cultures. When I flew in I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Never being to London didn't help either. But between the Tube and the buses, it was relatively easy to get around. Traveling on the Tube is a piece of cake once you get used to it, although I did have an experience where I got on the right train going the wrong way. So that was interesting.

Of course I had to go to the changing of the guards because it's history right? And it's free. But if you plan on going, get there early....man there was a lot of people there to see it. You will stand there for an hour or so and then there is a sudden feeling of excitment because you hear the guards walking in.......you watch them for a bit, march around, the marching band plays some music, and then they change the guards and their done. Afterward i wasn't quite sure why i stood there that long to be honest....the thrilling part is to realize that they have been doing this for thousands of years which is amazing to me.

Then off to Hyde Park Speakers Corner. Ok this was hilarious. People coming to the corner of a park, standing on a ladder, box, or nothing and deciding that they need to share their opinion about the most obscure stuff. From health care to the salvation of man there was plenty of opinions to be shared, if your standing on a box or not. This is actually historic as well because people congregating to Hyde Park Speakers corner began as a result of the 1855 riot, which was in protest to the Sunday Trading Bill, which some say was the beginning of the English revolution. Anyway, cool to be in the middle of history.........and people use that corner in the same way they have since 1855.....cool huh?

anyway, feel free to leave comments and if you want the full of my travel check out my video >>

Glaciers

Carved by glaciers over thousands of years, Fiordland is a world of deep waters, tall peaks and waterfalls. Milford Sound can be explored by cruise boat or sea kayak. There's also a network of walking tracks in the area, including the world famous Milford Track.
